InboxSys can send alerts to mobile devices via Telegram messenger.
Register
- If you don't have a Telegram account, download Telegram to your mobile device and register with your mobile number
- Open the bot you would like to receive alerts from. The default bot is @mailmikebot, but depending on your provider, this may be different. Bots can be found by using the Telegram search function
- Click on the "start" button at the bottom of the screen
- Type your full InboxSys username when asked for it and send it to the bot
- In case you have no permission to use the bot-alerts yet, The bot will send a request for activation to an administrator. Please wait patiently for confirmation.
- Get your activation code by using the buttons on the screen. You can either receive the code by following a URL, or by E-Mail (if a valid E-Mail address is set in your InboxSys account settings)
- Enter the received code and send it to the bot
- You should now see a summary of your account and be able to receive Inboxsys app alerts
Configure
In the account settings click "Alerting Settings".
In the dropdown menu, you can choose to get:
- All results - This will show full campaign results. You will receive alerts for each mail you receive in InboxSys app.
- Errors and Warnings - This alerts only about items marked yellow or red in a campaigns' analysis.
- Errors only - This alerts only about items marked red in a campaigns' analysis.
Below the dropdown, there is a line corresponding to each of the sections in a campaign analysis. Each section has 2 options:
- The first option (green) turns alerts for the section in question on or off
- The second option (yellow) allows to enable full analysis results. When disabled, you will only receive a summary of the items found
Please note:
- When "All Results" are enabled, each section result comes in a separate Telegram message
- When full analysis results are enabled, there may be too much information in a single alert, resulting in the alert being split in multiple Telegram messages.
